I like that I’ve PR’d every lift every time I was either in my late 2nd trimester or 3rd trimester on each of my 3 pregnancies.

I was always very active and competitive, tackle football was my sport in high school. I became a Wildland firefighter on a hotshot crew and loved the challenge it gave me. I found that same challenge in CrossFit. Becoming a mom also made me feel more empowered because I want to show my children that they too can achieve anything they put their mind to. I enjoy having as much fun before, during, and after a workout even if my face doesn’t show it during.
I was raised to have the mindset of there is always someone better than you so push to be best you can be. I was active but not very coordinated or great at sports but I was very tough and stubborn so that helped get me where I am today. What helped me get through physically tough tasks was to put my head down and eyes forward and know the pain is a fraction of time. Anyone is capable of what they want, you just have to be willing to make the changes for it to happen.
